Aesthetic Dentistry

The aesthetic care of the teeth is the actual goal of the treatment. A variety of modern techniques are available for implementation. A non-invasive, gentle approach preserves as much healthy tooth structure as possible. The selection of materials can be tailored to the needs of your body.

Changes to the tooth shapes can be simulated with computer assistance and then also with temporary solutions in the mouth. This ensures certainty for the treatment goal. Your wishes can then be implemented in the practice’s own dental laboratory.

Microabrasion

Discoloration in the outer enamel layer cannot always be removed with bleaching, but can often be permanently eliminated using a special chemical-physical method. This gentle method is particularly gentle on the enamel: virtually no substance is removed. After applying a suitable paste, it is polished into the surface layer and removes the unsightly discoloration.

Esthetic Contouring

The silhouette of the teeth is occasionally worn and chipped. Harmony and symmetry of the incisal edge can be restored according to the lip line and the smile line with the help of smaller additive or subtractive measures.

Veneers

Ultra-thin ceramic shells can be glued to the tooth enamel. Stubborn discolorations can be safely corrected with it. Likewise, the shape of the tooth can be changed without having to grind the tooth down significantly. Gaps can be closed and worn, too short teeth can be lengthened again.

For a ceramic veneer, very little tooth enamel needs to be removed. Due to their translucency, they create a natural effect and blend seamlessly into the surrounding tooth structure.

Composite restorations

The aesthetic effect of our teeth is created by the interplay of colors and shapes as well as different reflections and translucencies of the tooth substance. This must be taken into account for the true-to-nature reconstruction. High-quality composite materials enable a layered structure of the tooth substance, which is particularly important in the visible area of the incisors. Defects and caries can be invisibly restored in this way.
